4 Hrs RIVER SIDE PATH – PICHINGOTO

Mount on for an incredible journey through the Andes, crossing rivers, native forests, and historic villages. Discover the fascinating story of Pichingoto, where the origins of the salt pans began, and witness the legacy of Inka ingenuity as you ride through breathtaking landscapes.

Schedule

09:00: Begin the ride at Paint Horses Ranch. Cross the Vilcanota River on a traditional suspended bridge and ride through native forests and the vibrant village of Yanahuara.
10:45: Arrive at Pichingoto, a pre-Inka village where the first salt pans were created from a natural salty spring. Learn about its transformation during the Inka civilization.
11:30: Start your return journey.
13:00: Arrive back at the ranch to conclude the adventure.
